1967 Shelby GT 500
We have started work on this 1967 Shelby GT 500. This is an all original car that was last inspected for road use in 1976. The car has 47,000 actual miles and the owner sent it into the shop for mechanical safety and road worthy repairs. This car will be cleaned and detailed. Our goal is to keep this car as original as possible while making it mechanically sound and safe to drive.

Upon arrival I detected that the original gas tank had some pinholes in it. A new gas tank purchased from Virginia Classic Mustang was installed.
The rust free under carriage of the GT 500 still has almost 50 years of dust, dirt, and grime to be cleaned.
