1963 Ford Falcon Futura

maple hill restoration 021

This is a 1963 Ford Falcon Futura convertible. My dad bought this car in the mid 1970's for $600.00. It only had 40,000 actual miles then. It had all original paint, interior, and chrome. We drove it regularly as the family car for several years then my dad put it into storage and saved it back. In the mid 1990's I did a cosmetic restoration on the car. It is a rust free body with all original sheet metal with all original interior except new carpeting. I did strip and repaint the outside body and door jams, rechromed some of the original pieces and polished the rest that could be polished. The car now has 68,000 original miles. The engine and suspension has never been out of the car. This car is driven to shows which has won the AACA Jr, Sr, and preservation awards.
