This car holds a very special place in the heart of Maple Hill Restoration. It was the first restoration project done 25 years ago in the facility. The car was owned previously by my father who traded for a 1978 Corvette Pace Car and our 1931 Model A Ford. The owner of the car is a repeat customer that brings the car back to keep it looking fresh and maintained. He has gone on to win AACA Jr/Sr awards, Preservation awards, along with AACA Grand National 1st and Senior awards. It has also won Old Dominion Association Jr/Sr Preservation awards.
